During the COVID-19 outbreak, Physicians Immediate Care is leading the way in patient safety. Our 40+ clinics throughout Illinois and Indiana are OPEN and accepting patients in person. This is made possible through enhanced disease prevention procedures.
We have implemented rigorous health and safety protocols to ensure patients are able to visit our clinics safely for their health issues. Our clinic availability and disease prevention initiatives also allow us to reduce the burden on emergency rooms and other healthcare settings.
An important part of our patient safety measures is COVID-19 screening for all clinic visitors and our new curbside care program. This initiative protects the safe clinic environment through improved physical distancing.
WE ARE NOW OFFERING
To protect the health of all clinic visitors, every person entering a clinic will be asked to wear a surgical mask and thoroughly sanitize their hands for 20 seconds. All patients are required to continue wearing their mask throughout their visit.
Every person who wishes to visit one of our clinics will also be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before entry. Only those who pass the screening will enter the clinic. Those who have symptoms or risk factors will be asked to return to their vehicle so we can help them through our curbside care program.
With curbside care, patients can be assessed and treated by a medical provider from the safety of the patient’s vehicle.
Additional Preventative Measures
The new curbside care program is in addition to several other preventative measures.
Using phone, text messaging, and telehealth visits, our medical providers are keeping in touch with patients who have tested positive for COVID-19. Our medical team is providing ongoing care to support their recovery and the health of our community.
The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We want to thank all our patients for your cooperation, and for helping to make Physicians Immediate Care clinics a safe place for everyone.
