What is the cost of an immigration medical exam?
If you are insured:
- The fee for the immigration medical exam is $225. This cannot be billed to your insurance because the exam is not being done for medical reasons.
- Required immunizations for the I-693 form are typically covered by all medical insurance plans.
- Any required lab tests will be billed to your insurance. You will need to review your personal insurance policy to determine your specific benefits as it varies by plan.
- Please do not try to have your primary care physician order the lab tests for you until we have had an opportunity to discuss your specific needs.
If you do NOT have insurance (Self Pay):
- The fee for the immigration medical exam is $225.
- Your labs will be sent to Quest Diagnostics, and the charge for labs, paperwork, and all processing fees is $161*
- Your total cost will be $386*
- If you need additional vaccines, we will discuss how to receive the vaccines for the lowest cost possible.
How much does Quest Diagnostics charge for labs:
We cannot guarantee these rates, as the lab sets them and can change at any point. To be sure of the most up-to-date costs, please call Quest Diagnostics to confirm. Typically, the cost of these noted below are reduced by 30-40% for the uninsured.
