I am a Multi-Site Manager for Physicians Immediate Care’s Bolingbrook and Oswego clinics. In my role, I’m responsible for managing the flow of these two clinics and ensuring that they are operational to treat our patients. I also serve as the go-to person for all questions regarding processes and/or concerns with anything happening in these clinics. Most of my days are spent ordering inventory, making staff schedules, completing performance reviews, answering questions from clients and patients, helping out on the floor during busy times and ensuring that the staff has all the tools needed to deliver outstanding medical care.
I have been with PIC for three years, and since then I have been able to grow very much in my career. I started in January of 2015 as a Patient Care Technologist at our Bolingbrook clinic and immediately felt at home. The team there was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable since day one. Being one of our busiest clinics, I found it challenging at first, but with the help from the staff, I was able to learn every aspect of my job quickly. One year later, I was offered the Clinic Administrator (CA) position which I accepted. I was the CA at Bolingbrook for over one year; then, in September of 2017, I was offered the Clinic Manager position which I also accepted. My most recent promotion was in December of 2017, when I accepted the position to manage our Oswego clinic, too. I can see my career growing with PIC with each year because the company is growing and rapidly bringing new opportunities.
PIC’s mission is shown daily by our staff, by making the patient’s time and care their top priority and delivering that care from their hearts. Every time I’m in our clinics, I see our staff working hard to get the patients in and out so that the patient can feel better and go on with their day.
I appreciate the flexibility PIC has had with my schedule since the day I started working here. I have been in school and PIC has allowed me to be able to work and attend school at the same time. I also appreciate the opportunities that PIC has given me throughout the years. It is hard to move up in a company if you come with little or no experience, but I feel like PIC values your work and dedication and not the number of years you have been in a role.
I know starting a new job can be nerve wrecking, but PIC will make you feel like home in no time. Follow the company values, work hard, and you will see all the opportunities that will come your way.
