I started working with Physicians Immediate Care in 2016 as a Rad Tech. I moved up to Assistant Manager and then a Multi-Site Manager. I want to continue to play a part in creating an overall rewarding experience for all staff. Whether it be training new staff, ensuring employees have a good work-life balance, or just making sure we are running as efficiently as possible for our patients and the communities we treat.
- Physicians Immediate Care's mission is "to provide remarkable care you can count on, when and where you need it." Can you tell us how you see that mission playing out each day at Physicians Immediate Care?
Throughout the pandemic, we were here. We worked short-staffed, stayed open for our patients, and remained a dedicated care facility everyone could turn to for COVID tests, vaccines, workers comp, and EPS visits. We fought hard to keep as many employees here for the people that needed us even when the world shut down.
- What is something you appreciate about Physicians Immediate Care that people would not know unless they worked there?
The behind-the-scenes action. You would never know all the puzzle pieces that have to fit to ensure a clinic stays open. The constant communication of Managers, Workforce planning, and staff to make sure the employees have what they need as soon as possible. The moving pieces from Buildings and Ground to Marketing dropping off tests or supplies just to make sure we had what we needed to do our jobs.
- What advice would you give to someone applying for a role at Physicians Immediate Care?
DO IT! Physicians Immediate Care is a great company to work for. After seeing the struggle firsthand of getting and keeping supplies throughout the past few years, they care. They do want what’s best for the employees and the company. There is so much room for growth. We are always growing and definitely have room for you!
