My career at Physicians Immediate Care has been phenomenal! I started my career back in September 2011 as an extern student. Once I completed my extern hours I was offered a position as a Full-time PCT at our West Loop location. A few years later, I became CA (Clinic Administrator) for Park Ridge location, which I enjoyed for a couple of years until I heard the training department was expanding. I applied for the training specialist position because I really enjoyed training new staff members. I was in the training department for over five years until I decided it was time to expand my growth within PIC. In May 2021, I became a Multi-Site Manager for multiple clinics in the Chicago area.
- Physicians Immediate Care's mission is "to provide remarkable care you can count on, when and where you need it." Can you tell us how you see that mission playing out each day at Physicians Immediate Care?
I see this mission played out on a daily basis in our clinics. Staff setting up to have a successful day providing the best care possible to our patients. Creating a Friendly, Positive environment for patients and staff members.
- What is something you appreciate about Physicians Immediate Care that people would not know unless they worked there?
I personally appreciate the trust Physicians Immediate Care gives us as employees. It makes me feel more confident in my role and makes me look forward to future growth within the company. PIC provides all the tools necessary to be successful in your role (Proper training when starting a new role, Additional training from training depart if needed, Guides, etc.), but over all, I really appreciate the fact that PIC treats all clinics and staff even and fair.
- What advice would you give to someone applying for a role at Physicians Immediate Care?
