Financial Data Analyst

<p>Physicians Immediate Care is proud to announce a newly created role, <strong>Data Analyst</strong>, to support the growth of reporting and analytical needs across the company. The ideal candidate should have entry-level experience (1 to 2+ years) with data and analytics, preferably in healthcare. While this position rolls up to the Finance/Accounting department, reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning &amp; Analysis, this new role will work cross-functionally, under guidance, to help support various departments (Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Quality &amp; Compliance).</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Extract large raw data sets from various sources and transform into digestible recurring and ad-hoc reports for technical and non-technical audiences</li>
<li>Build efficiencies, automation, and enhance accuracy of existing reports by thinking critically and reverse engineering various data sources</li>
<li>Help identify, develop and refine key performance indicators as the company expands and enhances operational processes</li>
<li>Act as a liaison with joint venture partners, state reporting agencies and other outside organizations by providing data, answering inquiries and fulfilling reporting needs</li>
<li>Use data to prepare presentations for both internal and external stakeholders</li>
</ul>

<li>Utilize soft skills (i.e. strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize needs/requests) to meet internal customer needs</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Requirements – Experience, Skills &amp; Education</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1 to 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or relevant role</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Basic understanding of relational databases</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot Tables, Charts &amp; Formulas (VLOOKUP, IFERROR, IF, SUMIFS)</li>
<li>Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills; formatting, linking data &amp; charts</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy</li>
<li>Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and requirements accordingly</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or related field</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience with any of the following is plus, but not required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; run and modify existing SQL queries</li>
<li>Microsoft Excel; PowerPivot, data models, and/or macros</li>
<li>Microsoft Excel; formulas INDIRECT, INDEX &amp; MATCH</li>
<li>Microsoft PowerShell; executing existing scripts</li>
<li>Business intelligence/analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)</li>
<li>Healthcare data (CPT codes) and/or financial modeling</li>
