Teaching Healthy Living Through Children’s Theater

At Physicians Immediate Care, we believe that when the habits for a healthy lifestyle are developed at a young age, healthier and happier lives are the result. And of course, for those who are young in years or young at heart, fun is an essential element for learning!

We care about the health of our children and our community. That’s why we’ve partnered with WTTW Kids to help bring fun, educational performances to communities in and around the Chicagoland area. In WTTW’s Big Idea Traveling Lab and Fun Food Fest, children’s favorite television characters are brought to life in engaging performances that encourage kids to make changes towards a healthier lifestyle. With themes like emotions, healthy eating, being active and caring for our environment, the performances aim to spark ideas and habits that can benefit children throughout their entire lives.

Add in the great musical performances by some of Chicagoland’s best children’s musical acts, special prizes provided by Physicians Immediate Care, and an opportunity for children to meet and take photos with beloved characters after each performance, and it’s easy to see why children, parents and parents alike love the shows.

You and your child can join us too! Visit interactive.wttw.com/kids to find the next free, live show in your area. We look forward to seeing you there.
